I keep seeing Blog remarks from very bitter Obama supporters RE: Palin. Are they really just disappointed that?
their anticipated “slam dunk” has been taken away….or are they hateful to anybody that doesn’t agree with their positions..?
BTW…Please don’t even talk about lack of experience…unless you are willing to compare the records of both Palin and Obama.
She scares them. The announcement stole their minority candidate thunder. When you couple this with the fact that she is a reformer and represents a departure from the normal “business as usual” candidates the Republicans normally choose it creates a giant hurdle they must to clear. They are scared of this candidate for two reasons. The first is that she just might be exactly what she presents herself to be and this resonates well with swing voters. The second is that if McCain is elected and even marginally successful it structures her to run for President in 2012. If Hillary runs as expected in that same year the gender card will be useless. The simple fact is that there is nothing that represents a positive for the Democrats regarding Palin and they will continue to try and destroy her with every resource at their disposal.
